Counseling Mental Health Counseling is available to all. The fee is determined by income using a sliding scale.
Emergency Food Pantry/Clothing Rack Emergency food bags and clothing options are provided to anyone presenting proper identification. Applicants do not need to be Riverside County residents.
Emergency Rental/Mortgage Assistance Emergency rental/mortgage assistance for eviction prevention serves low income families and individuals in the portions of Riverside County. Eligibility is based upon set criteria and will be determined through a phone intake or appointment.

Holiday Programs Thanksgiving baskets are provided for families not only in the Transitional Living Program, but also to Riverside County residents. During Christmas, as a result of gifts from organizations throughout Southern California we provide gifts for children of low income families. To be placed on the list for either program please contact our office by October 1st. You must be an existing client of LSS to qualify for this program.

Housing Outreach/Referral Services Everyone in need deserves to be directed to an appropriate resource to meet those needs. If LSS is unable to provide assistance we will do our best to offer support through our strong referral network. We serve the following needs in this manner: housing, emergency shelters, food, employment, mental health, education, vocation, legal services, medical services, human services, and welfare care.

Motel Vouchers Emergency assistance generally coupled with emergency rental or mortgage. Meant to transitional while awaiting availability of new housing property.

Transportation Vouchers A limited number of bus passes are available monthly upon request.
Utility Assistance
Providing assistance to City of Moreno Valley residents only, with gas and electric bills. American Recovery and Re-Investment Act funds are utilized to assist resident. This is a one-time program which should end by November 2010.
